Information we collect
We collect account identity, contact and ministry profile information, subscription status, service activity, device and security logs, support communications, and material you upload or create, including sermons, transcripts, recordings, research, church details, and generated documents.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide transcription and analysis, personalize coaching, save classroom progress, create Studio exports, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, support users, and improve reliability.
Sharing a study with a friend
A signed-in study participant may request one one-time invitation to a person they know. The recipient address is used only to deliver that requested message. It is not added to a marketing list, does not create an account, and receives future study or marketing email only after the recipient separately opts in.
First-party product analytics
With your permission, we record limited first-party events such as page paths, sign-in completion, checkout milestones, contact submissions, viewport size, and error identifiers to understand reliability and improve the product. You may decline optional analytics or change this choice at any time through the Privacy choices control in the footer. Analytics events do not include sermon text, transcripts, research content, Salt & Light reflections or journals, payment card details, or advertising profiles, and are not sold to third-party advertisers.
AI and service providers
Requested content may be sent to configured AI, transcription, storage, payment, authentication, and infrastructure providers only as needed to perform the requested service. These may include OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Supadata, Stripe, Google authentication, and Hostinger. Provider availability, retention, and data-handling terms vary. Sermon Analyzer does not sell personal information.
Recordings and sensitive information
Do not record or upload people without appropriate notice and permission. Avoid unnecessary medical, counseling, child, financial, or confidential church information. You control what is submitted and are responsible for local consent and retention requirements.
Security
We use authenticated sessions, access controls, encrypted transport, restricted administrative functions, provider signature verification, security headers, backups, and operational monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Content is retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect the service, and maintain requested backups. Account owners may request deletion, subject to legal, fraud-prevention, billing, and backup-retention requirements.
Cookies and sessions
The service uses a secure session cookie needed for sign-in and account protection. Your optional analytics preference is stored in your browser. Payment and authentication providers may set their own necessary cookies under their published policies.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13. Do not upload a child's personal information, counseling material, image, or recording without lawful authority, appropriate consent, and a ministry need.
Your choices
You may review account details, manage billing, export work, correct profile information, and request account or content deletion. Some operational and billing records must be retained as required by law.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date on this page. Privacy and deletion requests may be sent to jcalvin@2cproduction.com.
